台湾の新型高強度鉄筋コンクリート(New RC)とは

高強度コンクリートと高強度鉄筋を組み合わせることで、高層建築の柱を小さく、鉄筋量を少なくできます。本稿では、New RC の背景、材料、設計上の注意点を整理します。

1背景

台湾では高層建築が増え、従来の強度のコンクリートと鉄筋では、下層階の柱断面が大きくなり、鉄筋も過密になって、利用できる空間や施工品質に影響が出ます。2010 年代から、国家地震工学研究センター(NCREE)と学界が「台湾新型高強度鉄筋コンクリート(New RC)」の研究を進め、より高強度の材料でこの問題の解決を図っています [9]。

2材料

New RC は、高強度コンクリートと高強度鉄筋を組み合わせたものです。主筋には SD685 級、横方向鉄筋には SD785 級を用い、コンクリート強度も従来の設計で一般的な範囲を大きく上回ります [9, 10]。材料強度が高まることで、同じ荷重をより小さな断面と少ない鉄筋量で負担できます。

3設計上の違い

高強度コンクリートは圧縮挙動がより脆く、一般強度のコンクリートで較正された従来の設計パラメータをそのまま使うことはできません。拘束鉄筋の必要量や、高軸力下での柱の靭性についても、改めて検討する必要があります [15, 16]。そのため New RC には独自の設計提案と修正パラメータがあり [10]、断面解析ツールもそれに従って計算しなければなりません。

4研究資料

国家地震工学研究センターには New RC の専用ページがあり、設計指針、実験、研究成果がまとめられています [9]。関連する研究は、国際的な学術誌にも継続して発表されています [15, 16]。
